What We Believe
We understand that before a church or ministry invites someone in—whether it’s to teach, counsel, or train—it’s essential to know who that person is and what they believe.
You’re not just looking for a good communicator. You’re looking for doctrinal clarity, spiritual integrity, and alignment with your mission. That’s wise stewardship—and we respect it deeply.
This page is our way of making that process easier. Our aim isn’t to check every theological box in every denomination, but to clearly share the biblical foundations we teach from, and the posture I take toward ministry.
Short version?
Jesus is Lord. The Bible is true. Salvation is by grace through faith. And I’m here to serve the Church—not divide it.
1. Scripture
I believe the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16–17).
It is sufficient for salvation, sanctification, and instruction in every area of life.
It is our highest standard for truth—not culture, emotion, or consensus.
2. God
There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).
He is sovereign, holy, just, gracious, and unchanging.
3. Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14).
He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.
4. Salvation
Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received by faith alone in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8–9).
We are justified by His righteousness—not our performance—and adopted into God’s family as sons and daughters.
5. The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, empowers, and sanctifies believers.
He dwells within every Christian and equips us to grow in Christlikeness (Gal. 5:22–25).
6. Human Nature & Sin
All humans are created in the image of God and have inherent dignity and worth.
But due to sin, we are spiritually dead apart from Christ (Rom. 3:23, 6:23).
We don’t need a self-improvement plan—we need a Savior.
7. Sanctification & Growth
Spiritual growth is a process of becoming more like Christ, empowered by the Spirit, shaped by the Word, and sustained in community.
I believe in heart-level transformation, not just behavior modification.
8. The Church
The Church is the Body of Christ—local and global, visible and invisible (Eph. 4:11–13).
Though imperfect, the Church is God’s chosen means to disciple, equip, and send.
I seek to serve with pastors, not over them—under their authority, aligned in purpose, and rooted in unity.
9. Marriage & Relationships
Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ and the Church (Eph. 5:25–33).
Healthy communication isn’t just a skill—it’s a spiritual discipline, rooted in humility, love, and repentance.
10. How We Teach
I teach from a Reformed Christian worldview, integrating biblical truth with clinically-sound relationship tools—like Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
But Scripture always takes the lead. Psychology can support the truth—it should never substitute for it.
In Closing
I’m not here to stir up debate—I’m here to help restore connection.
To teach with clarity. To serve under authority. And to build up the Bride—not critique her from the sidelines.
If that resonates with you, I’d be honored to partner with your nonprofit, church, business, organization or ministry.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” – Hebrews 10:23
